SIDS and Kids offices throughout Australia depend almost entirely on the generous support of the community to support their work which includes: •   Infant Safe Sleeping Education Program to reduce the risk of SIDS and fatal sleeping     accidents.  Since 1990 this program has reduced the incidence of  SIDS by 85% saving     over 6000 babies lives to date. •   Bereavement counselling and support to families who have experienced the     sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child during pregnancy, birth, infancy or      childhood. •   24 hour free call Bereavement Support Line available in all states and territories. •   Funding of research into the sudden and unexpected death of babies including     areas such as stillbirth and sudden infant death syndrome. All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible. Please note donations made from outside Australia will be calculated in Australian Dollars.
